GUNS & HOSES CHARITY HOCKEY GAME

Fans Have Fun and Raise $4550

(GODERICH, ON) – A cheque presentation is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Goderich-Huron YMCA to hand over the funds raised from the recent Guns-N-Hoses Charity Hockey Game. All proceeds ($4550) raised from the event will be equally shared by the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign and the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund.

For the game itself, the Goderich Fire Department rallied back from a 6-3 deficit to douse the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment team 10-6. The packed arena at the Maitland Recreation Centre enjoyed the spirited play and numerous prize giveaways.

The organizers would like to thank all of the generous sponsors, game day volunteers, fans and community supporters for making this year’s event a tremendous success.
