Robbery – Alcohol Delivery

On Saturday, April 12, 2014 at approximately 9:35 pm a male was making a delivery of alcohol in the area of 112 Baseline Road West when he was approached by two males and a female. One male had his face covered with a bandana and brandished a knife demanding the alcohol. The victim subsequently complied with the demands and gave the alcohol to the individuals. The victim was able to retreat into the near by building and contacted Police.
Police attended the area along with the K9 Unit.
All three individuals were located a short distance later and arrested.
Jordan Ireland, 22 years, of London was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
– Armed robbery, contrary to section 343(d);
– Disguise with intent, contrary to section 351(2); and
– Carry concealed weapon, contrary to section 90(1).
Joshawa Green, 25 years, of London was charged with the following Criminal Code offence:
– Armed robbery, contrary to section 343(d); and further was arrested on outstanding warrants.
Christine Bishop, 24 years, of London was charged with the following Criminal Code offence:
– Armed robbery, contrary to section 343(d)
No one was injured as a result of this occurrence.
The London Police Service continues to encourage members of the public to comply with demands of anyone committing a robbery, and to call 911 as soon as possible.
