The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman in connection with a harassment complaint.
In March 2014, a 57-year-old Chatham man contacted police to report that he was being harassed by a woman known to him. The woman was making statements both derogatory and harassing in nature. Attempts were made to locate the woman, however when unsuccessful, a warrant was issued for her arrest. Yesterday morning, police located the woman on Taylor Avenue and she was arrested. The 45-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with criminal harassment. She was released with conditions pending a future court date.
