On April 19th at approx. 10:00 p.m. officers responded to a Disturbance on Grand ave east in Chatham. A 24 year old Lasalle man was located arguing with his girlfriend. She was sitting on the ground crying when the Officer arrived. During the investigation the Officer noted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on the man’s breath. In addition, he also learned that the man was on Probation. Two of the conditions of the Probation order were not to consume alcohol and to be in his residence between 9pm and 5am daily. The 24 year old Lasalle man was arrested for Breaching his Probation and is currently in custody pending Bail.
