Statistics Canada Survey

The Chatham-Kent police would like to share some information about a unique survey being conducted in our community called ‘Survey of Emergency Preparedness and Resilience in Canada’ (SEPR). The results from this survey will measure how well individuals and communities are able to prepare for, respond to, and recover from a disaster or major emergency.

Statistics Canada is conducting this survey in partnership with Public Safety Canada and Defence Research and Development Canada. Data collection from this survey is taking place across the country until June 2014. Collection of information will be obtained through telephone interviews only. Participation is voluntary.
