On the 20th of April 2014, Members of the Barrie Police Street Crime Drug Unit conducted an investigation into two males believed to be trafficking in Cocaine. During the course of their investigation, officers observed a drug transaction, arrested the two males without incident and seized a quantity of cocaine. Subsequently officers executed a drug search warrant on a residence in the area of Johnston Street /Georgian Drive and arrested another male party. As a result of the search warrant, officers located and seized cocaine, MDMA, marihuana, cash and a quantity of stolen credit cards.
Charges:
1. 32 Year old Barrie male. Possession for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine), Possession of a controlled substance (Cocaine) – Released with a future court date.
2. 26 Year old Barrie male. Possession for the purpose of trafficking (Marihuana), Possession of a controlled substance (Marihuana) – Released with a future court date.
3. 33 Year old Barrie male. Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Possession for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine), Possession of a controlled substance x3 (Cocaine, MDMA, Marihuana), Unauthorized Possession of Credit Card Data – Held pending a bail hearing.
