On the 21st of April 2014, Barrie Police attended a storage unit located in the cities west end regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival police revealed that the two parties had been involved in a verbal argument earlier in the evening at the couple’s downtown residence. The male left and attended the storage unit. The female still enraged over the argument, got into her car and drove to the storage unit where she confronted the male again. The female immediately attacked the male as she began kicking and punching him. The male in an attempt to gain control of the female grabbed on to her arms. In doing so the two parties fell to the ground at which time the male got up, ran to the phone and called 911. Police observed minor injuries to the male and subsequently arrested the female for assault.
The 29 year old female was held pending a bail hearing.
