On the 28th of April 2014, an 18 year old female attended the Barrie Police Service and reported an on-going domestic abuse allegation by her 15 year old boyfriend. The two parties attend the same school. The female indicated that the male had assaulted her, stolen from her, caused damage to her property, harassed her and had threatened her in the past.
On the 29th of April 2014, the male party attended the Barrie Police Service and turned himself in regarding the allegations. The male was held pending a bail hearing and has been charged with 3 counts of assault and criminal harrassment, 1 count of mischief, 1 count of theft and 1 count of uttering threats.
