The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following an assault in Blenheim last night.
Around 8:00 p.m. an argument began between two 18-year-old Blenheim men, known to each other. At this time, the victim was kicked and spit on. A citizen driving in the area of Marlborough Street and Catherine Street stopped to help.
Around 9:15 p.m. police located the man responsible and he was arrested. He has been charged with assault. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
