On Tuesday April 29, 2014 at 12:42pm, Waterloo Regional Police and Emergency Services responded to an address on Springfield Cresent, Waterloo in response to a 32 year old Waterloo male in medical distress. While emergency services were assisting the male, ammunition, three rifles, and drug related parphernalia was observed in plain view in the residence and seized. The male was taken by ambulance to hospital and was subsequently released. The man is being held for a bail hearing and faces charges of Possession of a Firearm, Careless Use of a Firearm, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Possession of an Illegal Substance, and Breach of Undertaking.
