Matthew Snyder – Drunk Driving

(Central Huron, ON) – On June 11, 2011 at approximately 10:00 pm, Huron OPP officers stopped a vehicle on Burns Line. While speaking to the driver, the officer detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. The officer formed the grounds to read the demand for the driver to provide a roadside sample of his breath. The driver complied and failed his test.

He was then arrested and taken to the Huron OPP Detachment where he met with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician to provide two more samples of his breath. The results of the tests confirmed that the driver had a blood alcohol level in excess of the legal limit of 80 milligrams.

As a result of the traffic stop, Matthew SNYDER (29) of Brussels has been charged with one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He will answer to his charge in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on August 29, 2011
