(HURON TWP, ON) – On June 17th, 2011 at 5:32 pm, a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along County Road 86 in Huron Township noticed a White Toyota travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle’s speed was locked on radar at 147 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. 18 year old Melanie FERGUSON of Cambridge has been charged with Race a motor vehicle. She is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on August 8th, 2011 to answer to the charge. The vehicle she was driving has been impounded for 7 days.
