Perth County OPP were called to a report of a two vehicle collision that occurred this morning at 10:00 A/M at the intersection of Perth Road 164 and Perth Line 20 in Fullarton Ward. As a result of the collision the a male occupant of a Ford Van was airlifted to London Health Sciences to be treated for non-life threatening injuires, and 3 other occupants in the van were transported to Stratford General Hospital by land ambulanceto be treated for their injuires. The driver and lone occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police continue to investigate all aspects of the collision. Next of kin has not been located and notified at this time. The OPP Traffic Collision Team is assisting in the investigation. The roads were closed for approximatly 4 hours and have just been re-opened to traffic.
A further release will be sent out with the identity of those involved when next of kin has been notified.
