Perth County OPP was called to a report of a two vehicle collision that occurred this morning at 10:00 A/M at the intersection of Perth Road 164 and Perth Line 20 in Fullarton Ward. As a result of the collision the driver of the Ford van, Richard Moore age 43 of Ayton was injured and airlifted to London Health Sciences where he has been treated and released, his wife Barb Moore age 40 years and his daughters Malachi Moore age 14 years and Gabrielle Moore age 10 were all transported by ambulance to Stratford General Hospital where they were treated and released for their injuries.
The driver and lone occupant of the Nissan car, Floyd Woods age 80 years of Burton Township near Parry Sound was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police continue to investigate all aspects of the collision. The OPP Traffic Collision Team assisted in the investigation. The roads were closed for approximately 4 hours and have since been re-opened to traffic.
