(MUNICIPALITY OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Tuesday June 28, 2011 shortly after 3 a.m., a motorist contacted the Perth County OPP advising that cattle were walking on Line 29 between Perth Road 112 and Perth Road 113 south of Stratford.
Perth County OPP officers responded to the scene and discovered that 30 cows had escaped from their fenced field and were walking on the road. The farmer who owns the cows was located and attended. Three OPP cruisers and two Stratford Police cruisers were able to safely corral the animals and get them back into their field.
