(PORT ELGIN, ON) – On July 3rd, 2011 at 3:52 am, a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol noticed a Nissan Maxima fail to stop for a stop sign on Catherine Street in Port Elgin. The vehicle was stopped on Bricker Street, Port Elgin and the driver was found to have been drinking alcohol. 31 year old Brent MACDERMID of Port Elgin has been charged with Impaired driving and Over 80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on August 8th, 2011 to answer to the charges.
