(INVERHURON, ON) – On July 3rd, 2011 at 9:38 am, the South Bruce OPP conducted radar patrols through the hamlet of Inverhuron in response to community concerns. As a result, four motorists were identified and charged.
22 year old Stephanie BACKES of Kitchener was charged with speeding
26 year old Stephanie MCINTOSH of Listowel was charged with speeding
58 year old James STAPLETON of Mississauga was charged speeding
20 year old Curtis RICHARDSON of London was charged with Racing a motor vehicle for travelling more than 50 km/h above the posted limit.
The South Bruce OPP is warning all drivers to slow down in built up areas. During the summer months, the population grows significantly in Southern Bruce County. Speeding increases your risk or being involved in a crash, which means it’s not just illegal, it’s unsafe.
