(Howick, ON) On September 25, 2009 shortly before 8:00 pm police were advised of a traffic complaint involving a black pick-up truck with roof lights. The truck had been observed doing donuts” at the intersection of Amberley Road and MacDonald Line. Police were advised that the suspect vehicle was last seen driving towards Gorrie. Huron OPP officers began to patrol the area.
A short time later a Huron OPP officer observed a vehicle matching the description on Gough Road just east of Gorrie Line. The vehicle appeared to be stopped at the side of the road and had the flood lights on its roof turned on. The officer drove towards the parked suspect vehicle and activated his emergency lights.
