(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – At approximately 9:00 p.m. on July
23, 2011, park wardens from Point Farms Provincial Park assisted police
by placing a male driver under arrest for Impaired Driving. Huron OPP
officers attended the park and determined the male driver was impaired
by alcohol. The driver was subsequently arrested and transported to the
Goderich detachment to meet with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician in
order to provide two samples of his breath.
The results of the two tests confirmed that the driver had a blood
alcohol level that was above the legal limit of 80 milligrams of
alcohol.
As a result of the investigation, Steven DOYLE (22) of Kitchener has
been charged with one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol.
He will answer to his charge in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich
on September 12, 2011. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90
