On June 30, 2014 at 11:25 p.m. police responded to a disturbance at a residence on Grand Ave North in the city of Cambridge. A 24 year old male had assaulted a 35 year old male with a baseball bat. Police arrested the 24 year old male at the residence without incident. The 35 year old male victim was transported to Cambridge Memorial Hospital by EMS, where he was treated for a variety of non-life threatening injuries. The 24 year old male faces several charges including assault with a weapon, assault cause bodily harm, uttering threats, and breach of probation.
