Mark BRADLEY – Drunk Driving

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Tuesday July 01, 2014, shortly before 6 p.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped a south bound car on Hwy. 23 north of Mitchell. The driver failed a roadside breath test and was taken to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville, where he also failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.

Officers also located marijuana in the vehicle and determined that there were a number of Liquor Licence act violations.

Mark BRADLEY (51) of Central Elgin, the driver of the vehicle, has been charged with the following offences;

– Driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.

Diana LEBRINK (44) of the Municipality of West Perth, a passenger in the vehicle, she has been charged with:

– Possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.

– Two Liquor Licence Act offences.

Both charged persons are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on August 18, 2014, to answer to these charges. The driver was issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his Mini Cooper has been impounded for 7 days.
