On Wednesday the 2nd of July 2014, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service Drug Branch, as a result of an ongoing investigation, arrested a Kitchener male on Ontario Street South in Kitchener. Police allege that the male was trafficking methamphetamine and prescription pills. At the time of his arrest, the male was in possession of 107 grams of methamphetamine, 1 gram of cocaine, numerous pills and approximately $3500 in cash. The street value of the drugs seized was in excess of $11 000. The male was also operating a vehicle without a licence and the vehicle has been seized as offence related property. The male was charged with three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, three counts of Possession, one count of Breach Probation and one count of Drive with No Licence and held for a show cause hearing.
