On July 6, 2014 at 10:30 p.m. police responded to the area of Thaler Ave, Kitchener for a report of an assault with weapons brandished. The victim, a 21 year old Kitchener man, was attacked by multiple assailants. No injuries were sustained as a result of the assault. Three adults and 1 young person were arrested nearby and charged with assault with a weapon, disguise with intent, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and mischief to property. The investigation has revealed that the attack was a targeted incident and there are no concerns for public safety.
