On the 6th of July, 2014, a Kitchener male, 27 years, was arrested on Charles St E in the city of Kitchener for possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The investigation revealed the male is also a suspect in an assault on the 18th of June, 2014. Charges for the Kitchener male are possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon and assault cause bodily harm. A second male, 22 years involved in the investigation, has also been charged with Assault and Breach of Probation. Both males are being held for show cause hearing.
