At approximately 4:30pm Owen Sound Police were called to an accident at the intersection of 10th Street West and 1st Avenue West. A Subaru Forester travelling eastbound on 10th Street West collided with a Chev Cavalier travelling southbound 1st Avenue West.
A passenger in the Cavalier received a minor injury which did not require medical treatment.
Both vehicles were damaged extensively and had to be towed from the intersection.
The driver of the Subaru Forester was charged with failing to stop for a red light.
