On July 11th 2014 at approximately 12:45am, two Kitchener men, 20 and 21 years old, were assaulted in the area of Rutherford Dr in the city of Kitchener. One male was shot with a firearm and the other struck with a weapon. Both males were transported to a local hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries and discharged. This does not appear to be a random incident.
