Just before 1:00 a.m. this morning, police received a call that a man was trying to enter different apartments on Riverview Drive in Chatham using his own keys.
Officers attended the area and located the man who was intoxicated. As the man was unable to locate his own apartment he was arrested for his own safety.
The 41-year-old Chatham man has been charged with being intoxicated in a public place. He will be held in custody until sober.
