The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information regarding two break and enters in the Thamesville area.
On July 3, 2014 an elderly woman was outside gardening. While outside, unknown suspect(s) entered her home on Longwoods Road and stole money from her wallet.
On July 10, 2014 at approximately 2:45 p.m. an elderly woman observed an unknown female enter her home on Lamila Street while she was out gardening. The female removed money from the homeowner’s purse. When confronted inside the home, the female dropped the money and fled the area. The suspect is described as female, 50-55 years, brown hair covered with a blue/white stripped kerchief, last seen wearing blue jeans and running shoes.
The Chatham-Kent police would like to remind residents to lock their doors, even when outside doing yard work.
