On Monday July 14, 2014, just after 7pm, a 36-year old female and a 47-year-old male were assaulted on a walking trail in the area of Lawrence Avenue and Highland Road West in the City of Kitchener. A third male who was cycling through the area was also assaulted when he attempted to intervene and stop the assaults. A 43-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with Assault and Aggravated Assault.
