(NORTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police has charged a 48 year old male with Speeding and Driving While Under Suspension following a traffic stop on July 9, 2014. At 3:47 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a GMC Sierra pickup truck travelling westbound on Belgrave Road near Currie Line at a high rate of speed. The officer confirmed the speed of the vehicle with a RADAR device and determined the driver was travelling at a speed of 89 km/h in the 60 km/h speed limit.
The officer conducted a driver’s licence query and determined the driver had a suspended licence. As a result, 48 year old John BOS from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh has been charged with Speeding and Drive While Under Suspension.
He has a court appearance scheduled for Provincial Offences Court – Goderich on August 19, 2014.
