On Thursday July 17, 2014 at approximately 1230 am three teenagers were riding their bicycles on Big Bay Point Rd when a small Honda vehicle with two males and a female drove past circled the teenagers and stopped the car in front of them.
The three suspect exited the vehicle and accosted the teens, the female brandished a small knife while the two males made verbal demands for property from the teens.
The teen victims turned over their phones and IPod, one of the males then slashed the tires out on the bicycles and quickly fled the scene in the vehicle.
The police were contacted and a detailed description of the suspects and vehicle were provided.
Officers quickly found the vehicle and the three suspects were arrested.
All three suspects are 21 years old, all three will face robbery charges while the female suspect was on probation and was found in breach of conditions and will face an additional charge of breach of probation.
All three were held pending a bail hearing.
