While on patrol police investigated a 47 year old male driver on Mapleview Drive. Police suspected that the male had been drinking and conducted a roadside alcohol test. The male subsequently failed the test and as a result was arrested and transported to the Barrie police station to provide breath samples. The male was found to be driving with over one and half times the legal limit and released with a court date when sober.
