On Friday July 18 2014 at approx. 10:09pm a pickup truck was turning right from Brooklyne Rd Cambridge onto Glen Rd. A 17 yr old male was riding on a skateboard on Brooklyne Rd and turned left onto Glen Rd. The skateboard collided with the side of the pickup truck. The skateboarder was taken to Cambridge Memorial Hospital and then transported to Hamilton General Hospital by ambulance for major injuries The Waterloo Regional Police are still investigating this matter and requesting any member of the public who witnessed this collision to contact the traffic branch at 519-653-7700 ext. 8856 or email [email protected]
