(SOUTH HURON, ON) On August 7, 2011, at approximately 2:00 a.m. Huron OPP officers responded to a report of an assault on Simcoe Street in Exeter. Investigation revealed that two males had been jumped and assaulted by two other males. The victims were taken to the South Huron Hospital where they were treated for their injuries and released.
As a result of the investigation, Shawn KERSLAKE (18) of Exeter and Cameron OUD (18) of Exeter were arrested and both charged with one count Assault Cause Bodily Harm and one count of Assault. KERSLAKE and OUD will answer to the charges in the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter on October 27, 2011.
