On July 22, 2014 at approximately 5:30 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded with the Kitchener Fire Department to a large structure fire in the area of Louisa Street and St Leger Street in Kitchener. A number of condominium units were destroyed or sustained damage in the fire. Some of the units were occupied and other were at various stages of construction. No injuries were reported to police. At this time, the cause of the fire is not known. The Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office attended the scene and will be investigating. Police are assisting in the Fire Marshall’s investigation.
