(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating a break, enter and theft of property from a shed located on Main Street South in Seaforth.
Sometime between June 20, 2014 and July 20, 2014 those responsible entered the unlocked shed and stole the following items:
Two 50 cc Stihl chainsaws
A larger 3 foot bar Stihl chainsaw
A camo coloured Excalibur crossbow, with scope, sling and quiver
A Horton crossbow, with scope, sling and quiver
The stolen items are estimated to be worth approximately $1500.
Remember these words, “Lock it or Lose it!†Please do your part to prevent crime by locking your residence, shed, garage, barn, utility building, and vehicle. Property crimes are largely crimes of opportunity. Remove the opportunity and prevent the crime.
