A 19 year old Chatham male has been charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic after the vehicle he was driving struck a park car on McNaughton Ave. W. in Chatham at approx. 2:50 a.m. 27 July.
At the time of the accident the male driver was arrested for Impaired Driving and later administered a breath test which showed that alcohol did play a factor in the accident but he was under the legal limited for being impaired. Damage estimates are yet to be determined.
