The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for failing to comply with his release conditions.
On June 10, 2014, the man was released from custody with conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to attend police headquarters on June 26, 2014 for the purposes of being fingerprinted.
On June 26, 2014 the man failed to attend and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Shortly after 6:00 a.m. this morning, police located the man on Woods Street and he was arrested. The 31-year-old Chatham man has been charged with failing to comply. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
