(GRAND BEND, ON) Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were on Main Street in Grand Bend August 4, 2014 just after 9:00 p.m. conducting one of many programs under Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) during the civic long weekend.
During this particular checkpoint, a male who was driving a GMC vehicle entered the R.I.D.E. area and was stopped by OPP officers. As a result of that stop, the driver, 31 year old Gregory TIESMA of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township, ON was arrested and charged with Driving Over the Legal Limit.
The driver has a Sarnia court date of August 25, 2014 to answer to the charge.
