(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit has laid charges following last week’s request for assistance in solving three retail robberies.
Mark Genier, age 32 of Ottawa, has been charged with the following offences:
Three counts of robbery
Three counts wear disguise
Three counts possession of a weapon in commission of an offence
Mr. Genier was arrested July 31, 2014, and appeared in court on August 1, 2014. Mr. Genier remains in custody and has a court appearance August 5, 2014.
This also provides an update and closure to a June 23, 2014 release related to two unsolved retail robberies.
