On August 7, 2014 at 10:55 p.m., Guelph Police attended to a Vanier Drive residence in relation to a break and enter.
A resident was alone in their house and when they heard a noise, called out believing it to be their spouse arriving home.
The suspect is believed to have entered through a second floor balcony door, and fled through a back door after being startled by the homeowner.
Items were knocked over, but nothing is believed to have been stolen.
