On Thursday the 14th of August 2014 at about 1:20 a.m. Chatham-Kent Police stopped a young person on a bicycle for a Highway Traffic Act offence and discovered that the suspect had court imposed bail conditions including a curfew. The Youth was arrested and transported to Police HQ where he was held for a bail hearing.
As a result the young person was charged with Failing to comply with recognizance under the Criminal Code and failing to comply with sentence contrary to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
