On August 14, 2014 at 8:51 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a vacant Huron Street residence to investigate a break and enter. Entry was gained through a rear window but no theft was reported. Guelph Police then returned to this residence on August 15 at 3:34 a.m. A male had entered through the previously smashed window. Police arrested the man as he attempted to flee the house.
A 36-year-old Guelph male has been charged with break and enter to a dwelling, breach probation and two counts of breach OIC undertaking. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on August 15, 2014.
