On Tuesday August 19th, 2014, Waterloo Regional Police arrested a Cambridge man in relation to two incidents of assault on females in the downtown Galt area that occurred a few minutes apart. One of the victims, a 95 year old Cambridge resident, was transported to Cambridge Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The second victim, a 69 year old Cambridge resident, did not require medical attention. A 27 year old male was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm and Breach of Probation. He was held for a show cause hearing.
