Barrie Police officer was detailed to the Costco parking lot in regards to a dog requiring assistance. The officer arrived on scene and was speaking with the owner of the vehicle when the dog lunged out the backside window and bit the officer. The officer sustained minor injuries and the dog was determined to have all his shots. The female owner was cautioned for leaving her dog in a vehicle unattended in hot weather conditions.
