(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 21, 2014 at approximately 6:24 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police(OPP) uniform officers, Wellington County OPP Street Crime Unit (SCU) and the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) safely executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Albert Street, Mount Forest-Wellington North Township. As a result of the search warrant, officers arrested two males and a female. Seized were 210 marihuana plants at various stages of growth, approximately 3.1 kilograms of marihuana bud, 4 vials of marihuana resin, and approximately 4 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms. Also seized was paraphernalia associated with drug trafficking. Found in a bedroom was a spring action knife which is illegal to possess.
Robert CHAPMAN age 48 of Mount Forest is charged with;
-Produce Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A.)
-Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking over 3 kilograms-C.D.S.A.
-Possession of Cannabis Resin for the Purpose of Trafficking under 3 kilograms-C.D.S.A.
He will appear in Guelph Bail Court on August 22, 2014.
Donna TAGLIABRACCI age 54 of Mount Forest is charged with;
Produce Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking- C.D.S.A.
-Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking over 3 kilograms-C.D.S.A.
-Possession of Cannabis Resin for the Purpose of Trafficking under 3 kilograms-C.D.S.A.
She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 31, 2014 to answer the charges.
Daniel MACINTYRE age 21 of Mount Forest is charged with;
Produce Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-C.D.S.A.
-Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking over 3 kilograms-C.D.S.A.
-Possession of Cannabis Resin for the Purpose of Trafficking under 3 kilograms-C.D.S.A.
-Possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms for the Purpose of Trafficking-C.D.S.A.
-Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon-Criminal Code
He will appear in Guelph Bail Court on August 22, 2014
