(SUDBURY, ON) – On August 21, 2014 at 11:25 p.m., officers from the Sudbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a three vehicle collision on Highway 17 Southwest by-pass, between Southview Drive and Fielding Rd. in the City of Greater Sudbury.
Walter Carter, 39 year old male driver of the westbound pickup was release from hospital and has been charged with breach of conditions from an unrelated incident.
The 18 year old male driver of the east bound Subaru was pronounced dead at the scene. No names are being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation is ongoing further charges are pending.
