On the 26th of August 2014, members of the Barrie Police Street Crime Unit commenced an investigation into a 33 year old Barrie male living in the Cities East End regarding the trafficking of Cocaine and Fentanyl.
Officer’s investigation confirmed their suspicions and led them to observe a drug transaction between the above male and one of his associates a 39 year old Barrie male. Seized during the arrest were 30 Fentanyl Patches, a small quantity of Cocaine and half an ounce of Marihuana.
Both males were held pending a bail hearing.
The 33 year old male faces charges of: Possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance x3.
The 39 year old male faces charges of: Possession of a controlled substance and Breach of recognizance.
