Investigators with the Crime Management Team of the Waterloo Regional Police have identified and charged five local parties with a total of 379 charges. Accused are: Senad HASKIC 20 years; 94 charges including break and enter, identity theft, possession of identity documents, fraud, possession of stolen property, use of stolen credit card, theft of motor vehicle, identity fraud, drive disqualified, theft and breach of probation. Shannon FRYERS 30 years; 136 charges including break and enter, identity theft, possession of identity documents, fraud, possession of stolen property, use of stolen credit card, theft of motor vehicle, identity fraud and uttering forged documents. Jeremy HODDER 33 years; 137 charges including break and enter, identity theft, possession of identity documents, fraud, possession of stolen property, use of stolen credit card, theft of motor vehicle, identity fraud and uttering forged documents. Bradley MACLELLAN 35 years; 5 charges including break and enter, possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property and using a stolen credit card. Sasha ROCCIO 24 years; 7 charges including identity theft, possession of identity documents, using a stolen credit card and possession of stolen property. Between April and July of 2014, the accused parties were involved in numerous break and enters and thefts from vehicle with a focus on identity documents, cheques and other securities in order to secure loans and contracts in the victims’ names. In total approximately 53 victims have been identified in this investigation and others are anticipated. The investigation was conducted by Detectives with the Waterloo Regional Police Service – Crime Management Team andspanned multiple jurisdictions. Crime Management Team Detectives liaised with the OPP, Guelph Police Service and Halton Regional Police which also laid charges. The community is reminded to ensure that no valuables are left in their vehicles overnight and to report any suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods immediately to Police.
