Just before 7:00 a.m. yesterday morning, police received a report of a suspicious man sleeping in a blue recycling box on Harvey Street.
Officers attended and located the man who was intoxicated and unable to care for himself.
The 23-year-old Chatham man was arrested for his own safety and charged with being intoxicated in a public place. He was held in custody and released when sober.
